As a former nurse and midwife; I have attended people through the birth and death processes and found that most, at least in time of need, believed in angels.
I have studied complicated Kabalistic rituals designed to bring a multitude of angels to my beck and call. That is if I could remember all of the ritual. In Psychic Development classes many years ago I was taught which Archangel to call for this or that and the directions and colors associated with each. Now in time of need should I search my memory for whom to call while visualizing their color and which direction to face while doing it?
Experience has taught me that it's much easier than that. Angels are with us most of the time anyway. We each have at least one guardian angel that watches over us. If you feel you need extra help all that is required is for you to ask. That's all. Just ask. I always feel more comfortable addressing the God/Goddess Energy directly. So, I just say, "God/Goddess, please send angels. I need your help."
My daughter always asked for God/Goddess to send angels to help her during her Psychic Development lessons. She asked that they surround her and protect her and help her to open up to the Divine. There is no worry of negative energies when you are surrounded by angels!
How will you know that you have succeeded in invoking your angels? A sense of peace, answers for your problems popping into your head, a phone call or knock at your door with a solution to your dilemma. You may hear angel references everywhere you go. For me a certain song will play no matter where I am. I know it's the angels letting me know they are here. Look for the small signs and you won't be disappointed.
