Blind Faith In Angels

I have always believed in angels. There has never been any question in my mind about their existence. I love to read about angel experiences and hope that one day I can see one for myself. As a former nurse and midwife, I have felt their presence at births and deaths but have yet to have a tangible experience.

I taught my daughter to invoke angels for protection as she was learning to develop her psychic ability and within a short period of time she was hearing angels singing. She would look at me in amazement and say, "Can't you hear them? It's beautiful!" Try as I would, I heard nothing but silence.

My husband and I had a discussion about whether it was proper to invoke angels or just focus directly on the God energy. We have different religious upbringings and he wasn't even sure if angels existed at all. Maybe I was wasting my time calling for them and misdirecting my devotion. I just assumed I could do both.

It wasn't long after our discussion when I fell ill and took to my bed to recover. My husband was standing in front of our home when he saw a huge glowing being, at least 7 feet tall, wings and all gliding towards the house. The being passed was able to pass through the wall without effort. There was no doubt in his mind...this was an angel.

My husband rushed into our bedroom to tell me what he had witnessed. Standing at my bedside looking down at me was the angel. He looked up at my husband and disappeared. Of course, I slept through the entire encounter.

Now, why wasn't I permitted to see this angel that dazzled my husband or hear the heavenly choir that delighted my daughter? Maybe it was because I already believed in angels.

Faith is blind, right? In my case I guess it's deaf too.

Much Love,
Gina
