Healing Meditation for Pregnancy Loss

Whether you have lost a child pre-birth due to miscarriage, fetal demise or elected termination, you will find a sense of peace from this beautiful healing meditation.

Find a quiet spot free of distraction and give yourself at least 20 minutes for this exercise.

Seat yourself comfortably or lie down if you prefer. Close your eyes and take 3 deep cleansing breaths.

Imagine yourself standing on the bank of a gentle river. Ahead of you is a dock with a boat attached. You enter the boat and are transported safely and calmly across the waters.

When you reach the other side and step out of the boat, you notice that path a appears that leads from the shoreline. The path leads you through a small stand of trees to a beautiful park-like setting beyond. You can hear the laughter of children playing from the park.  You notice a wall before you that separates you from the park. Find the gate and enter.

As you proceed into the park you can see children of all races and ages playing joyfully. There is a white gazebo with seating  ahead.  Walk towards and take a seat.

At this time ask that the soul of your child approach you and join you.  Give this a little time to unfold.  The child may choose to appear as any gender,race or age.

Now that they are with you, you may speak to them and express how you feel. Reach out and touch your child, embrace him/her and let the love flow between you. If you did not have a chance to choose a name you may ask him/her what they would like to be called. Ask for a message at this point and spend as much time as you need in this special sacred space.

When you feel it is time you may leave the park and board the boat for your return journey. You feel joyful and lighter now. Peaceful and centered. You know that you can return to this space whenever you need.

Finish this meditation with 3 more deep cleansing breaths. Open your eyes and take a few moments to process your experience.
